Grosvenor Place is committed to making our customers workday easier and as part of this commitment are delighted to announce that the lifts are undergoing an exciting lift modernisation program that will reduce waiting and travel times between floors.
The work will be delivered in two stages – Stage 1 commenced in May 2020 and involves the installation of a Destination Control System (DCS). Stage 2 reflects a refresh of the lift car interiors and will take place from January 2021. During this time, one lift car will be removed from service in each riser while the lift cars are being refreshed.
Over the years, the owners of Grosvenor Place have completed upgrades to the lift mechanics at every available opportunity, and this, along with much of the works being scheduled to take place after hours and over weekends, results in a condensed works program of five months.
