Our long-time Commercial Manager Mel has headed off on maternity leave last month and we all congratulate her on the birth of her second daughter, Harriette. We would love to introduce you to Emily Russell who is filling in for Mel.

Emily joins us after a six-year stint in Capital Markets for a return to her roots in property management where she previously worked in the neighbourhood at 1 Alfred St, now a hole in the ground awaiting development. “It’s exciting to work behind the scenes on such an iconic Sydney building and be reacquainted with some old colleagues,” she says and notes she is a total sucker for those awesome Grosvenor Place views. Emily is a huge fan of the Seidler architecture and is eager to see the completion of the lobby works which will transform the ground plane of the building. |
“There is always something refreshing happening at Grosvenor Place, so I am excited about the diversity of this role,” she said.
She is looking forward to getting to meet our customers over a tasty almond flat white in Banksia or Grand Duk or bump into you in the Camerino. Emily and her husband recently bought bikes and she is on a mission to get back to the gym and cycle to the office when the weather warms up to get back in shape after COVID shut-down. “I love the Camerino facilities,” she enthuses.
And watch out for a reschedule of the Rugby Union Bledisloe Cup. The one thing Emily will let you know about is her support for her beloved home country All Blacks that she hopes will be getting to face off with the Wallabies in a rumoured five-Test Bledisloe series mooted by Rugby Australia. We can all celebrate that!
